About me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York. My research interests include syntax and semantics, first and second language acquisition, bilingualism and the effects of the language module on other cognitive processes. I hold an ESRC 1+3 scholarship for postgraduate researchers at the White Rose Social Science Doctoral Training Centre.

This blog is intended to be a record of my experiences as a postgraduate researcher and as an initial testing ground for ideas and research proposals.
